France's goal is to produce 2 million electric vehicles annually by 2030

Recently, it was reported that French President Makron said that France's goal is to produce 2 million electric vehicles annually by 2030, and France insisted on achieving the goal of 100% electric vehicles by 2035. The realization of this goal indicates that France will officially ban the sale of fuel vehicles by 2035.

It is reported that in order to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050, the European Commission proposes to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of new vehicles by 55% from 2030 compared with the level in 2021, and reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of new vehicles by 100% from 2035. In fact, this is equivalent to only authorizing the sale of pure electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles using hydrogen energy from 2035. It is understood that according to EU regulations, from January 1, 2020, the CO2 emissions of new vehicles per kilometer should not exceed 95 grams, and from 2021, the average CO2 emissions of all newly registered vehicles should be less than 95 g/km.
